Pillar 01: Advocacy
Sponsorship Representation
BSA is the voice of the sector with government, industry and international partners. We lobby where needed, build connections and speak on the stages where policy and budgets are decided.
Sponsorship in Belgium today often lacks a unified voice. Individual rights holders, brands and agencies each negotiate separately with government, media and international federations, with mixed results and little collective leverage.
BSA changes that. As the representative voice of the sector, we defend the interests of all our members with policymakers, industry bodies and European federations such as the European Sponsorship Association (ESA).
We hold conversations about regulation, put sponsorship on the agenda in economic and sports policy domains, and make sure the sector has a seat at the table when decisions that affect it are made.
What this means in practice
Structural dialogue
with federal and regional government bodies on Belgium's sponsorship climate.
European representation
at European level through collaboration with ESA and other national sponsorship associations.
Industry voice
through keynotes and panel participation at industry events, conferences and sector consultations.
Always on the radar
a point of contact for press and policymakers whenever sponsorship makes the news.
Who is this relevant for?
For rights holders who want a stronger voice in negotiations with government and media, for brands who want to help build a clearer regulatory framework, and for anyone who believes sponsorship deserves to be taken more seriously at policy level.

Brands
